International Office Town Hall #2/2022

On 29th June 2022, Mr. Disathat Panyarachun Chairman of PTT International Trading (PTTT) along with the Management team from PTT’s International Trading Business Unit (TBU) held a Town Hall and Company meeting with all staff from PTTT, PTTT LDN, PTTT USA, and PTT MEA to boost morale and support work in the situation of the COVID-19 outbreak and the volatile energy market situation from the Russia-Ukraine war.
Lately, during PTT Group STS 2022, PTT Group’s vision has been revisited to align with the changing energy landscape and global megatrends. Mr. Disathat conveyed the message of how the strategy in positioning reflects PTT Group’s business transition and the new vision "Powering Life with Future Energy and Beyond" defines the organization’s purpose by moving towards the energy business of the future and growing in new businesses beyond energy.
Mr. Pongpun Amornvivat, International Trading EVP, had an open discussion on the topic "How will Russia-Ukraine war end? & Is it a catalyst for a faster energy transition?" with the staff and spoke of the opportunity to expand PTT Group's business in the future.
In addition, Mrs. Jittipan Prarusudamkerng, Trading Risk Control & Compliance VP, shared the topic of Governance, Risk, and Compliance. She emphasized rules for conducting business during the Russian - Ukrainian Crisis which affects the volatility of the price and the credibility of the counterparties.
