PTT MEA LTD Official Office Opening in Abu Dhabi, UAE on 23rd February 2022

February 23, 2022, H.E. Waravuth Pouapinya, Thai Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Professor Dr. Thosaporn Sirisumphand, Chairman of PTT Board of Directors, together with Mr. Auttapol Rerkpiboon, President & Chief Executive Officer of PTT, and Mr. Philippe Khoury, Executive Vice President of Trading and Sales, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) have attended the official opening ceremony of PTT MEA LTD ( PTT MEA) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. PTT MEA is the most recent strategic office established under a supervision of PTT’s International Trading Business Unit.

Mr. Disathat Panyarachun, Senior Executive Vice President, International Trading Business Unit revealed that since PTT’s core mission is to serve Thailand with energy security, having business expansion and strong network in key world’s trading hubs is the company’s strategy. PTT MEA will play an important role as PTT Group’s ambassador in the global commodities trading hub in the Middle East, connecting Asia, Europe and Africa. Furthermore, being a founding member of the ICE Futures Abu Dhabi (IFAD), an Asian Crude Futures Market, PTT MEA creates its presence and lays a foundation for growth in both commodities and derivatives markets. This aligns with the vision to connect the world with commercial excellence as well as to build a sustainable future energy base for Thailand.
